DR. ANDREW ABRAMOWICZ
DENTIST/OWNER
Dr. Abramowicz is a graduate of Queens University and the University of Toronto, Dr. Abramowicz devoted his career to dental health, dedicated to upgrading his skills through continuing education. Taking ownership of Aster Family Dental in April 2025, Dr. Abramowicz has multiple dental offices including Pefferlaw Dental Centre, Beaverton Dental Office, Rose Dental Centre, Dentistry by the bay and the Manor Dental Centre in Sutton where he continues to practice. Dr. Abramowicz also owns and runs the LiveDDM Dental Practice Management software company in dental offices across Canada.
DR. Sina Makaremi
DENTIST
Dr. Sina Makaremi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto, where he was recognized with the Paula Gregory Memorial Award. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, he discovered his passion for dentistry in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
Dr. Makaremi has provided care in both local communities—including Aurora, Simcoe, Toronto, and Oshawa—and abroad through outreach trips to Jamaica, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. He believes in early diagnosis and prevention, taking the time to guide his patients through treatment options with compassion and clarity.
Fluent in English and Farsi (Persian), Dr. Makaremi is known for his gentle approach and commitment to excellence in care. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, running, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. He is currently welcoming new patients.

DR. FARRAH ROSS
DENTIST
Dr. Farrah Ross obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of New England and gained valuable clinical experience practicing in Maine before returning to her home province of Ontario.
Throughout her education, Dr. Ross demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in dentistry and education. She worked as a teaching assistant at the dental school and served as an active member of the program’s admissions committee, experiences that deepened her dedication to mentorship and patient care. Dr. Ross is devoted to delivering patient-centered care with a focus on clear communication and compassion.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ross has a passion for photography, exploring various cuisines through cooking, and supporting local artisans—especially potters.
She is honored to provide comprehensive dental care to the Uxbridge community and looks forward to is fostering long-term relationships with her patients.
DR. GHADA IMBRHIM
DENTIST
Joining Aster Family Dental in June 2025, Dr Imbrhim also owns and practices in North York where she started her career as a dental assistant.

CHANTEL V.
HYGIENIST
Born and raised in Uxbridge-ON, Chantel loves providing for her growing hometown. Chantel graduated from Durham College with an Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene with Honors and a Leadership Award. Passionate about Oral Healthcare, she is dedicated to listening and providing the best care for each and every one of her clients; ensuring a gentle, comfortable experience. She works closely with all Dentists, Specialists, and other Healthcare Practitioners to provide and plan optimal care for Aster Family Dental clients. In her personal life, Chantel likes to further her education, travel, spend time with her husband and daughter, attend Uxbridge events, enjoy the outdoors, and try new things!

HYGIENIST
With a passion for helping patients maintain lifelong oral health, Tanya has been a dedicated dental hygienist for many years. She brings a warm, personalized approach to every appointment, making patients feel comfortable and empowered to take charge of their oral care.

Joining the Aster Family Dental team in 2025, Paige brings over 11 years of dental expeince with her. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and preventative care through continuous education. Paige is known for her gentle technique and attention to detail, Paige is committed to educating patients on proper hygiene practices and helping them understand the importance of oral health in relation to their overall well-being.

Joining the Aster Family Dental team in 2025, Jaimie brings a warm, friendly presence to the office, helping to create a relaxed environment for patients of all ages. Staying current with the latest in dental technology and procedures, she is passionate about supporting patients’ oral health journeys and enhancing their overall experience. Jaimie shares her days both chairside, in the sterilization department and at the front desk greeting and assisting patients with organzing their Oral health journey.

Joining the Aster Family Dental team in 2025, Olivia is a friendly and dedicated dental assistant who brings a calm, reassuring presence to every patient interaction. She is passionate about creating a comfortable and positive experience for each person who visits the office. Whether assisting during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, or helping patients understand their care, Olivia is always focused on making sure things run smoothly..

JESSE L.
TREATMENT COORDINATOR/ON SITE MANAGER
Jesse joined our Beaverton team in 2023. In April 2025, Jesse has jumped into the Sr role at Aster Family Dental and is the main treatment Coordinator for the pracitce. Jesse is a person of many talents and experiences. After successfully running his own company specializing in water softeners and filtration systems for a remarkable six years, he decided to pass the torch to new endeavors. In the world of online entertainment, Jesse is known as the semi-famous Paintball YouTuber behind "Beaver Paintball." With a dedicated following, he shares his passion for paintball with the world. To top it off, Jesse proudly holds the title of the number 1 sniper in Canada, a distinction supported by a well-deserved trophy.Beyond the world of paintball, Jesse's diverse skill set includes teaching skateboarding and pursuing a degree in Social Work. He's spent six years working as an exterminator, showcasing his dedication and versatility. When he's not immersed in his various pursuits, Jesse enjoys the great outdoors. Whether it's camping under the stars, engaging in thrilling paintball matches, hiking in scenic landscapes, or crafting beautiful woodworking pieces, he finds joy in a wide range of adventurous activities.

LORENE McINTYRE
OPERATIONS/HR COORDINATOR
Lorene originally joined Dr. Abramowicz’ Sutton office in 2000. Previously working in retail management she decided it was time for a change. Being an active patient at Dr. Abramowicz’s Pefferlaw office, she began working with the administration team at The Manor Dental Centre learning about dentistry. Over the years, Lorene has expanded her role, working as the lead administrator, treatment coordinator, and overall office organizer. Lorene has now stepped away from the day to day duties of the front desk and is travelling between the four offices Dr. Abramowicz currently owns, to ensure all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Lorene is also a software consultant and trainer with Dr. Abramowicz’s dental software company where she has the opportunity to assist other dental offices to increase the patient experience. Living in Georgina where her and her husband raised their two children, they are now enjoying four beautiful grandchildren. You may see Lorene around town enjoying the local shops and community events or on Lake Simcoe enjoying a bit of lake life.
